Nick Duke

Senior Pastor
Nick leads the staff team at Cornerstone. He’s the husband of Kristie and dad to five. He’s worked with Uni students since 2006 and studied Psychology and Theology.

Kristie Duke

Pastoral Worker
Kristie helps newcomers integrate into our church family, leads bible studies and trains women to love and serve the Lord. She’s full of new ideas and balances that energy with crocheting, baking and walks.

Kadin Wood

Graduate Pastor
Kadin seeks for our church to be loving one another deeply, and serving one another joyfully; he's also the Campus Pastor at Fields Church. Chloë and Kadin have three young children. He enjoys making pizza, coffee, wooden things, and getting outdoors.

Josh Rich

Graduate Pastor
Josh seeks for our church to be sharing the good news of Jesus with others and glorifying God in all our gatherings; he's also the Campus Pastor at Campus Church. He and Elizabeth have three young children together. When he's not working, you can find him on any kind of board: surf, snow or skate.

Elena Blair

Executive Assistant
Elena came to faith after her flat mate had persistently invited her to come to church. She supports the work and growth of Cornerstone ministries.

Dee Burnell

Children's Ministry Co-ordinator
Dee is a lover of life. She has a passion to see kids mature into well-rounded individuals who understand just how much God loves them, so that they will live a life that honours Him.

Narelle Denmead

Ministry Support & Communications Lead
Narelle loves working behind the scenes to equip the pastoral team with compelling communications material. She loves a good font, strong coffee and a long run in the hills.

Emma Caughley

Pastoral Worker
Emma, originally from London, moved to Aotearoa in 2012. She enjoys reading, art, film, live music, and cooking. She is a pastoral worker at Campus Church, working alongside Josh Rich. Across all of church, she has a focus on seeking to see each member of our church eagerly using their gifts.

Ministry apprentices

Ben Epton

Ben works alongside students from Campus Church as they share the good news of Jesus on the local university campus and helps students and children to grow in their faith. He is keen on hockey, board games, and loves putting on a dinner party with his wife, Grace.

James Caughley

Before joining the team, James was studying and working as a musician and piano teacher. He’s now a full-time ministry apprentice focused on supporting university students in their Christian walk, though he’s still very involved at Cornerstone with his passion — music.

Tim Preston-Marshall

Tim came to understand his deep need for the Gospel at university, and has become convinced of how much our nation needs it, too. He's married to Rose, and you can often find him with a camera in hand.

Saskia Riedel

Originally from Taupō, Saskia moved to Christchurch to begin teaching in 2022, where she found herself attending Campus Church. As she was given tools to understand the Bible for herself, her faith was shaped deeply, and a desire to help others do the same grew. She's excited to be equipped to steward the Gospel for life.
