Growth Group Electives 2026

As our regular Growth Groups finish for the year, we’re stepping into a new chapter of discipleship — not a pause, but a purposeful shift. Our Growth Group: Electives give us a simple way to keep learning and serving together, growing in practical skills while staying grounded in Him.

Through a range of electives, from Christian living books to ministry training courses or tools for sharing the gospel message, you can choose where to focus your growth. Each group will center on God’s Word, prayer, and shared encouragement as we apply what we learn in community, for the good of one another.

It’s a renewed rhythm of learning and living out the gospel together.

Join us for dinner!

Sharing meals together is a great way to get to know others from church. Dinner will be provided for the evening groups meeting at the church office. It's totally optional, but if you' like to join us for those, please make sure you register and pay before 3 November.

Cost to add on dinner:
$35 for five weeks (no single dinner option available)

Growth Groups

Training course | $21.50

Growth Groups is a 'hands-on' training programme to develop effective small group leaders. A training program useful for all Christian ministry, not just Growth Groups, because it deals with the fundamentals of gospel work.

Finally Home

Book study | $30

In Finally Home, Dane Ortlund plunges into the word of God and the wisdom of the saints to help us rightly think about heaven, and to draw strength from our coming future more deeply than we ever have before. Ortlund speaks directly to the heart, providing insights into what our eternity with Jesus will be like. Finally Home is a timely invitation to lift our focus from the turmoil of our broken world to the wondrous surprises of our eternal home, where the Lord Jesus Christ himself will wipe away every tear from our eyes (Rev. 21:1–5).

Gospel-shaped Womanhood

Book study | $15

We all desperately want answers to the same questions: Am I valuable? What is my purpose? Do I belong? But the identity we’re searching for always seems just out of reach. Contrary to what the world tells us, we don’t need to find ourselves. Instead, we need to be found in Christ. More than just a sound-bite, Gospel-shaped Womanhood delves into what having a Jesus-centered identity really means and how it shapes our relationships, our service, our work, and our self-image. Deep, practical, and honest, this book will help build a lasting transformation in the way we see ourselves and all of life.

Digital Liturgies

Book study | $27.50

In Digital Liturgies, tech-realist Samuel D. James examines the connection between patterns in technology and human desires. Everyone longs for a glimpse of heaven; James argues they are just looking for it in the wrong place—the internet.

This accessible book exposes 5 “digital liturgies” that prohibit people from contemplating big truths, accepting the uncomfortable, and acknowledging God as their Creator. It then calls readers to live faithfully before Christ, finding wisdom through Scripture and rest in God’s perfect design.

Stepping Up

It’s designed to give confidence to people willing to step up in church life at any level — all encouraged to come.

Disciple Making 101

Learn and Share the Gospel

Training course | No cost

“What I received I passed on to you as of first importance.” (1 Cor. 15:3). The gospel is our top priority; we want to know it well and be confident to pass it on. Join Ben Epton in growing in this with help from ‘Learn the Gospel’ and ‘Share the Gospel’ by Tony Payne.

Happiness

Book study | $25

Andrew Wilson uniquely weaves biblical, theological, philosophical, psychological, and sociological methods to answer 6 major questions about human flourishing in our broken world. Drawing on the greatest thinkers across Scripture and science, readers get a guide that is theologically clear, intellectually robust, and practically helpful. It dismantles myths common in our culture and our churches and explores the deepest desires of both our hearts and our happy God—for us to find joy in him!

You're Only Human

Book study | $36.50

We'll bounce of Kelly Kapic's book, seeing that God doesn't need you to meet all the needs, know all the answers, or be superhuman. Yet as Christians, we often confuse our creaturely limits with sin. God just desires you to be a faithful human creature whose finitude fosters freedom, joy, growth and community.
